I don't know about ODD, but I DO know you can stand next to a Cummins truck while it's idling on ULSD, pour a quart of 2-stroke in the fuel tank and within a half minute hear the injector and (on a VP44) pump noise go down.
That's not opinion. Noise translates to wear in this drama. That's a fact.

Let me join in on the DRAMA As long as I have warranty on my truck, I'm not going to add any additives to my fuel

too many people dont?? thats the whole reason for your argument. is it not bc someone brought up the fact that they run oil in their fuel as to help lubricate it because they dont want to have to prematurely replace a part for lack of ? and you sit there and say that this is why you put nadirpoint on your ignore list yet you still argue your views with what he is saying? hmmmm. oh and your 6 years of wrenching diesels is not impressive in the least. ive been driving them, working on them, selling them and everything else them that there is for 5 and i dont feel that gives me a sence of entitlement to be a complete jackleg and try to prove everyone else wrong...but hey youve been working on them for 6 years so we are all just dumb rednecks right?!
