how was that statement poor logic because in all reality if my fuel system is failing because of heat and lack of lube because ulsd sucks then no matter what preformance parts i put on their effects will be void by the lack of fuel and increased strain on the fuel system.
guess what my friend yes it is the cause of problems in older engines if not why did they have to rework the fuel systems in new engines
read the statement above this one. If you are ase certified you would know by interducing more oxygen into the fuel mixture you will have a better burn of fuel.
My friend noise equals wear you ever hear a unbalanced engine they sound like crap and wear fast. you know if you doobt noise equals wear then dont ever fire another eninge up cause that noise equals wear too.
Talk to a real diesel mechanic and ask them how well the like PS.
Also if you dont mind me asking where did you go to get your ASE certifcation?
Then that leaves it being defined as a scapegoat.
Correct. Thats what they are known as a "fuel source" and/or "chemical intercooling" because *shock* they provide extra fuel (oxygen for nitrous) to burn and/or cool the charge air when injected.
That is false information.
Actually, not. Thats known as an anecdote, which is by definition an opinion.
Combustion noise does not translate into wear. By your noise=wear logic diesels would wear out faster than g@s engines, which the opposite is obviously true.

Thats good. PS is a decent product with (somewhat) proven results, even if it doesn't quite pay for itself with those results.

I have talked to many "real" diesel mechanics and they have no problems with powerservice, and it's the same as everything they say well here's the pluses and minuses, when used properly it can work and does, when you're not careful and dump a gallon in a 30 gallon tank it loses it's lubricating properties because it has naptha and some other nasty detergent chemicals in it when used in moderation do work but when over treated they become detrimental to pumps and injectors, but when done properly I believe it does work, this thread is alot like WIX vs Baldwin, i believe it truly comes down to preference, do what you think you gotta do

Powerservice hasnt worked for any of our trucks or the semis i used to work on and we were measuring correctly. I have had better results out of MMO the PS and according to the test results posted MMO was worse. But i guess to each his own.
