28 degrees??!! Above zero??!!! Hee hee I had to start my '07 the other morning, when I couldn't have it plugged in the night before, -15 degrees F. I almost didn't get it to start, the batteries were so cold.

I have no way to verify this, but a very experienced instructor I had when I was in tech school that said ether actually tarnishes the crosshatching on the cylinder walls, which makes the rings have trouble sealing.

Same here. It was about -12 and it took about a minute of crank-stop, crank-stop. Sounds pretty cool when it decides to fire off.
