What's it worth?

What's it worth?
99 super duty,4x4 on the fly, 7.3l, extended cab short bed. I'd rate interior 9.5 out of 10 and exterior 8.5 out of 10, only rust I've seen is two holes in bed. Newer tires, new glow plugs, towing mirrors, chip, gauges, has goose neck and trailer tow package. Paint is peeling a likens around windows. Has 174,000 miles. In my area it books for right at 11,000 in excellent condition. So what do you think it's worth guys?

8.5 out of 10 is pretty good. If you think that is bad, you're not judging it very well... Rust in the bed isn't as serious as it is on the cab somewhere... Front end work is going to drop the price if its noticeable. People don't like dealing with that because its expensive. But if the body is truly 8.5 out of 10, then yes, with 174k miles and new tires I don't see why you couldn't ask 10k for it.

ive owned 3 f250's, 1999 f250, 2001 f250, and now a 2003 f250.
good luck stopping that bed rust unless you disassembled it right after buying it new and rhino lined the whole thing and undercoated the bottom. if you didnt, the beds going to rust.
fords genious idea to make people have to buy new beds was to make the bed double walled.. meaning water gets in between the 2 metal sheets and rapes your bed!!
but back to your question... yes 10k is a fair price. id pay 10k for it if i had money

I paid 4K under blue book for my White 2002 Crewcab Longbed XLT with gray cloth that has 98K miles on it. Has a new alt, warn hubs, and the front end work (balljoints) have already been done. Came with some goodies too. 6" lift, brand new 35' tires with 18" moto metal wheels, amp steps, spray in bedliner...
If i was you id do whatever front end work needed. Thatll be worth more to someone who is looking to buy rather than therm having to do themselves after purchase. Just incorporate it into the cost of your asking price. Because someone can get a loan for your truck but wont be able to add on extra costs to have to replace stuff once purchased. Start above KBB and set a price for your truck that you wont go under. Its all about what you think its worth. Good luck with the sale.
