Default 6.0 vs. 7.3 idi vs. 7.3 Powerstoke?

Which is an all around better truck, a built 7.3 idi, a 7.3 Powerstroke, or a bullet proof 6.0? I'm certain I know the simple answer, I just wanna know the specifics of why one would be better than the other.

Is there such a thing as a "Bullet Proof 6.0"? let me know just in case?

Mine is an Excur with an 6.0 International DIT family model likely built in the summer of 03. Got about 95K miles now with very little trouble. Replaced the EGR cooler with a Gunslinger version and replaced the alternator. Added a Banks Econ-o-Minder that help a lot.

That's about it except for another problem I'll outline in another post

Good luck,
JJ

bullet proof is just the term they use when you've dealt with the EGR cooler and oil pump problems, I've heard those two things cause a bit of trouble w/ 6.0s

Bulletproof 6.0: EGR delet or bulletproof one, upgraded oil cooler, 6.4 banjo bolts, blue fuel spring, head studs

7.3 idi mostly because it doesnt need a computer or tuner to make more power. I use my 7.3 powerstroke for pulling and towin but has had alot done to it just depends on what you use it for
