Today i bought a low mileage rebuilt 7.3 from a scrap yard for $250. I was told it came out of a ambulance or a city bus, so it doesnt have a turbo or up pipes because it didnt come with them. What im wanting to know is what year is it and where i can get up pipes and maiafolds for it. i will post pictures tomarrow... but it has fuel injector pump with mechanical linkage.... is there any differance in looks or sn# or something? thanks fellas

 

You just picked up a 7.3 IDI... Its not a powerstroke... You got it for $250 bucks, because its worth about $250 bucks in scrap.
