Default stock 7.3

what is a good way to improve power on a 02 7.3 power stroke? I use the truck for hauling and towing. I also take it out mudding a little. Any tips wouldbe great. I do not want to make more then 300hp

Gauges first. At least a pyro and tranny temp.

After that a 4" turbo back exhaust, and a TS based chip with tunes from what ever tuner you pick.

^ agreed that and cold air intake small things help bigger tires are always a good thing i have 33" bfgs on my truck i love them great in the mud good price for them and you might want to go to fluid shocks i have rough country fluid shocks much smoother ride in my opinion

then after gauges and ts chip go then injectors and turbo upgrades but thats down the road

Thanks guys . My truck is on 35s and have thaught about adding power to it. I am only 16
and my parents don't want some horsepower monster as my daily driver. They want me to have a little more power for towing and better economy. What programers do you suggest?

^^^ agreed no sense dumping money into a truck to have it blow up.

If your really on a budget a walker or other 3.5" straight through muffler will help...not as good as a TBE but cheaper.

i agree, i would get a set of guages first before i added performance, especially if its your daily driver!

i got my f250 when i was 16 and i got into diesels pretty quick. im just too poor to do much to it!

good luck on the choices you make and be careful! lots of roads to take
