Intake is clean.. truck been good lately unless loaded then you feel it in the pedal and see it out the exhaust. Im goin to run it a few more week I've added additives, lube , cleaned everything out put an air filter, exhaust, oil /filter fuel filter Im goin to drive it hard and see if it clears up or blows up!!

I know it might sound strange but do you get any lights on when you drive it under load? My buddy had a problem last week his cummins was really doggy had no boost pressure. I put the computer on it and his fuel rail scensor was out.

powerstroke specialties is the place you need to call but one question I have? have you had the injetor tune up done? the website is POWERSTROKEHELP.COM - The Information Source for Ford Power Stroke Diesel Owners & Mechanics and Home of EDAS® "Engine Damage Avoidance System" for Powerstroke Diesel Trucks, go on youtube and type in powerstrokehelp longevity injector tune up, or type in the same powerstokehelp but space after that and put cold start. He has all kinds of REALLY GOOD videos you should watch em you'll learn a bunch I have a powerstroke it's a 99 model, I've run powerstrokes, duramax, cummins, the f250 is my grandpa's I really dont use it unless somethin horrible is wrong with my IDI, it just runs better to me, no turbo so no loss of pullin power in the rpms, just for me, the hard pulling and rpm build up is what im after, Im not sayin the powestroke is bad oh not at all i love it for what it is, but for haulin loads I'd rather have the idi.

Dont do this...

Anyone that prefers to pull without a turbo, should not give advise on pulling with a turbo...

Why is that could sombody epxplain exactly what u mean by that I mean about the powerstroke guy, and to CSIPSD, Sir Im really sorry if I said somethin that made ya mad at me, I just seen the guys vidoes and i thaught maybe this would help, im a machanic by trade but new to powerstokes, as far as getting used to them, but it still gets ran regular, it's just we never had a turbo diesel, until 8 years ago when we got the f250, I didnt mean to upest you, I hope ur not mad at me sir and I hope we can be buddies.

(I'm using the f250 ALOT more now cause mine has a rusted brake lin and bad steering box, and to be honest now that im used to the truck I cant keep my hands off of it, everytime they need me to haul a HEAVY load i jump in the f250 and do it, anything I pull thats over the weight of a Dozer I use the f250.

While he has some ok basic maintance advice, some of the crap he rambles on and on about has no base in fact. I dont believe he has the slightest idea how a powerstroke injector works.

He is the laughing stock of most performance and maintance guys and just not someone anyone should be taking advice from.
