First things first, what does the smoke smell like? Any loss of power?

sounds like possible air getting into fuel system.... when the pump pushes hard it might be starving a bit... my old 99 will do that some times... thats when I know it needs a filter... possibility .... cheep suggestion.....

check the pedestal behind and around the turbo and see if any oil is leaking. Bearings and shaft play. my buddies did it also only sometimes on colder days though blew alot of white smoke because the turbo bearing was going out and had some oil in the intake pipe right in front of the turbo because of oil. pull your intake pipe and check if theres oil in it.

i would try injector cleaner first and see what happens before you start taking stuff apart. if it still does it, it could be blow by.
