I have the lowest of three settings of the SCT brand installed on my stock 2001 F250. It is a program that you plug in and install. Very easy, right below the steering wheel. You can load the stock on back on if you ever want to-but you won't want to. I have been very happy with it. It made the engine come alive, adding about 50hp and it raised the mileage by 2 pg-at least according to the digital reader in the truck. Going to the 2nd or 3rd level one should consider upgrading the intake/exhaust to protect the turbo.

I got a DP-Tuner and really like it. I've heard plenty of good things about the TS but I can't speak for it. My DP-Tuner is simple, on the fly, and has all the settings you could ever want. My setup is 0 - No Start, 1 - Stock, 2 - 80HP Economy (not much economy if you get on it ), 3 - 140HP Aggressive, 4 - 1100 RPM High-Idle. It's great...just wish I would have got a towing tune on it .

I MUCH prefer a TS based chip over the DP... You can use any tuner you like with the TS blank. If you buy a DP chip, you are locked to there tuning and only there tuning.

To clear up something you can stack a chip with a ICP mod ( the banks 6 gun is nothing more then a Fancy ICP mod...).

pms sent...200 dollar plus s/h. its 2 mths old, i had a custom tuned one from dp tuner made so thats why i toook this one out. i tow heavy, and with different drivers at times driving my rig, i had some safety features built into the chip that the ts doesn't have. the ts does make more power but i'm not after power as much as lower egts and hight mpg! 717 404 9617 call or text.
