I was wondering if anyone has thier 99 f250 with the 7.3 diesel auto surge or hiccup when it shifts? It isnt constant and is only when you at half throttle, and tends to be when its hot outside. when it shifts from 3rd to 4th it surges. not sure if its the turbo or tranny problems any ideas?

 

Mine is doing that but I believe it to be fuel or electronic, either an ipr valve or possibly a bad connection on the crank sensor.

 

thanks i replaced my icp sensor and throttle postion sensor helped for awhile but its so temper mental its hard to trace it down
