i HAD A 7.3 IF IT IS BAD THE TRUCK WILL RUN WHEN THE CEL IS ON WHEN THE LIGHT SHUTS OFF IT WILL KILL THE TRUCK. WHEN IT GOES BAD THE COMPUTER WILL SET THE OIL PRESSURE TO A DEFAULT SETTING TO GET U HOME WHEN THE LIGHT SHUTS OFF IT IS TRYING TO READ THE ICP AND IF IT IS BAD IT WILL KILL THE TRUCK. BEANS DIESEL HAS THE BEST PROGRAMMER FOR THESE TRUCKS. THE PROBLEM WITH SOME OF THE AFTER MARKET PROGRAMMERSIS THEY WILL THROW FALSE CODES SORRY FOR THE LONG POST JUST ONE OF MY MANY EXPERIENCE THE PAS 3YEARS WITH A POWERSTROKE. stay away from super chips and bully dog on these 7.3s from what im told they destroy the 7.3, me i wouldnt bypass any sensor, they are there for a reason, im running stock tranny with no problems,

 

i have a superchip cortex. HATE it. period. dont buy one. getting a php tuner here pretty soon. and my icp sensor light goes on pulling a trailer or if my boost gets above 24.5 psi... why is that? ive had two different dealers look at it and cant find anything wrong
