First off welcome to Diesel Bombers.
Second sounds like one of two things. Either you have a fuel injector/s leaking down and over fueling a cylinder/s. Or you have an oil burner. Could be excess blow by and causing it to get to much oil in the charge are system.

oil is usually blue, fuel can either be black or white. How old are your glow plugs? If your glow plugs are bad, you will usually have white smoke on start up. Does your coolant level ever change?
