rebuilding 7.3
Well I'm new to this sight. I hope to gain some insight from someone. I have wore out my 7.3 power stroke! Just turned over 280000 thousand miles and shes tired! I am wondering about rebuilding a high hp engine to fit in my truck. Does anyone sell a drop in motor all speced out for performance. In other words all done up right and ready to drop in. Or am I better off tearing it down and rebuilding it myself? I have the skills to do it if some one can tell me what all needs to be done. Flatop

There's several vendors that do long blocks with all the go fast stuff (rods, pistons, injectors, turbo, fire ring, head studs, hpop, fuel system, headers, ts chip) you'd just be bolting on accessories. Can't say names as that gets posts deleted if they're not supporters. PM me if you like.

I have... and it is nothing more then a standard rebuilt 7.3... They have done nothing special to that motor.
I can right now in Portland Or get the same long block for $3500 with a 100k warranty...
Same thing.
In fact I am thinking strongly of getting one from them after talking to them...

There is your black mamby...
99-02 7.3L FORD POWERSTROKE 400HP+ CRATE MOTOR -
FYI, there is no "high volume water pump" the LPOP is the same melling everyone else uses, stock turbo, there "high performance valve springs" are comp 910's which are really better then stock, but also cheaper...LOL
The only thing there really adding to that motor is ARP studs...

Lets see a stock rebuilt turbo 100.00 for new bearings and bolts orings seals ect
humm no money there
arp studs 800.00
uhm injectors remanned by who?
chipped at 75 hp so it's really a 325 hp motor ...minus 50 on the dyno so so really 275 hp
ok so 6,000 for arp studs and a kicking paint job?
who does the injectors
so I could get a reman for 3500 add 2000 for NEW injectors and an HPOP 400.00 and rebuild my turbo for 100.00
and have a new motor new hpop and new injectors not remanned
