alright, is there an o-ring that could be the problem too or is the sensor its own seal? Thanks for the sensor info too hopefully getting a cheaper one if i can find one

 

There is an O ring at the top if the sensor, they rarely leak there. If there is oil coming out of the top of the sensor its toast. Even if its just leaking, its toast. It will send all kinds of weird readings to the PCM. You can try tightening the ICP sensor and the leak might stop...

To be sure, the sensor you have leaking is at the front of the drivers side head?

 

Yes it's on the front of the driver side head, where it's leaking is right above the hex part that u tighten it to the head with so I'm guessing the sensors toast but i'll try tightening it just to make sure, thanks

 

yea the sensor is toast... if its leaking anywhere but around the threads goin into the head (meaning bad oring), its toast... i have an extra but its toast too... LOL... sorry...

I have three or four in differant levels of toast ness... Keep the old one if it is still working, you will have a back up if something goes bad.

alright i replaced the sensor and guess what...no more oil on my driveway or on my engine thanks for all your help

 

ok so i replaced the sensor almost stopped the oil leakage and now it looks like the turbo pedestal o-ring, how do i get to that to get it off?
