You probably bent a pin on 1 or more of the connetors going in there. Unplug it, look VERY carefully at both parts, the connector plug AND the PCM unit and see if you can spot the one or more that are bent. Should fix the problem.
Did you unplug the batteries? If not you might've caused some voltage spike issues internally.
Just a thought... do the cheap fixes first, then go expensive if that don't fix the problem. Maybe use some contact cleaner right before you go back together with it just to make sure they are making good contact.
