There is no "injection" pump on a 7.3 or any PSD up to the 6.4 CR.

You can do whats called the 10k mod, which adds a 10k resistor to the ICP sensor, making the computer think the ICP is low. This will give you about 10-30 more HP, but dont do anything without atleast a pyro.

HPOP= High Pressure Oil Pump, What pushes the fuel out of our injectors
ICP= Injector Control Pressure, the pressure of the oil in the HPO system
ICP Sensor= the sensor that reads the HPO rails...

The Injection Pressure Regulator controls injection oil pressure. An electrical signal to a solenoid creates a magnetic field which applies a variable force on a valve servo to control pressure. The quantity of fuel delivered to the combustion chamber is proportional to injection control pressure.

An open circuit will result in minimum oil pressure and a no-start situation. A short circuit results in maximum oil pressure, and is limited by a mechanical pop-off valve to 27,580 kPa (4000 psi) .

After Researching This I Found That It's All Electronically Controlled, Unless There Is A Program Given To Reteach The Regulator - There Is No Mechanical Way, Or A "Turn Of A Screwdriver" To Turn It Up.

The Pump Is Producing Enough PSI To Add Fuel To The Rail But The Regulator Bumps It Down Quite A Bit.

Hope That Helps

Not going to knock ya... but you could have built the same thing for about 2 bucks from some resistors at radio shack...

Very common mod on the 7.3, 10k mod, 18k mod...

Hell for about 8 bucks you can build the ajustable one like you bought! But make sure you have gauges, ICP mods will bump EGT's very quick!

also might do the FPR mod... boost the fuel pressure some.. might be more along the lines of what he's thinking...

but do'nt go too much! You should have a guage installed to read your fuel pressure if you are going to do such a mod...
