my brother is considering on buying a 03 like to no some flaws. he had a first gen 6.0 some years back and it one problem after another he would like some good info please miles on it are 158.000 on the 03.

 

i had an 03 6.0, best thing i did is get rid of it, nothing but trouble, bad injectors, bad turbo, head gasket issues. if i was going to get a 6.0 it would have to be an 05 or newer, better yet, go a year older and get a 7.3L Best diesel ford ever used, bullet proof and lasts forever.

 

03-04 6.0s respond to mods the best worst part of the 03-early04s is the icp sensor location under the turbo! these trucks can be super fast but it comes at a cost!
