7.3 hard start
Hey guys having issues with the 7.3 it's a very hard start, but once it's started it starts everytime for the rest of the day. Ford installed some new injectors ad all glow plugs, it's blows a little blue and has a little bit less power, I'm assuming either my motors going if my compression is bad or the HPOP. Any ideas? And also a good price to have a 7.3 rebuilt? With all the work done by me or a motor shop? Thanks
You need to dive in with a multimeter and a scanner... Test your Glow plug relay first... Then find a scanner that works with powerstroke's and can give you ICP and DC numbers... You can also test your compression if you are worried about that...
Make sure your fuel filter is good and no crap in your fuel bowl. Make sure your oil is at the level that it needs to be. How long ago did the injectors get installed?

Injectors are less then 1000 km it was originally taken to ford for the hard start and they replaced the injectors and glow plugs, it helped but still not very good to start. I now have a video of it starting if you can send me your email I can send it to you
