Question 7.3 powerstroke

I need help.I'm thinking of buying a 2000 7.3 powerstroke but there's a problem with it. There's oil leaking out of the top of the engine, I was researching this because it will be my first diesel and what im seeing is it might be overboost or the hpop. Now I dont know much 'bout diesels. Can I get a little incite from someone who has more experience with diesels? Thanks.

i had the non servicable plug on my hpop back out and leaked oil everywhere. or could be seals on hpop. or turbo pedistal leaking..i had issues with that too. doesnt take a whole lot of time or money to fix if its either of those. im still learning and did it myself!
