Dino... 15-40 diesel rated.

Owners manual has everything you need to know about oil changes and such.

Unless you live where it gets really cold conventional 15-40 will be fine

I use Synthetic 5w-40 for the winter oil.

If its mild in your are (32' and up) you will be fine. Much between 32-0 and lower is where big benefits are in thinner oil.

If you run thinner oil make sure that the motor is in sound condition. (Like no leaks). Synthetic will show them real quick.

I have better fuel economy and quicker warm up cycles from using better the wal mart quality products.

I run Amsoil DME 15w-40. Any conventional oil will be fine for most people unless it gets cold where you live, then I might consider a lighter synthetic oil.
