Default powerstroke help

hey guys! i need some help. my 97 powerstroke quit on me. before it would stall out while driving and restart immediately. i was blowing a 30 amp fuse for the glow plug relay. my relay was bad but after i replaced it still wont start. removed fuel filter and drained. the filter fills with fuel when cranking so i dont believe its a pump. i replaced the cps and still no luck. i have also ohmed out my glow plugs and they all test good. any ideas?

Your Fuel bowl heater is shorting out. Unplug the fuel bowl heater and replace the fuse.

Have you unplugged the fuel bowl?

If the fuel bowl heater is shorted, the minute you turn the key it will short again, killing the power to the PCM. If your not getting your scan tool to hook up, you do not have power to the PCM, and the truck will not start.

If you replace the fuel bowl heater, replace it with the international one, way better design, cheaper too
