I have a 96 F-350 with an auto trans that is giving me fits. it has about 330k miles on it and it was running great until about 2 weeks ago. it started out just dying while idling or driving down the road loaded or unloaded. it would always start back up. then it got a little worse and died more often or would just kind of cut out. I had it running in the driveway and hooked up my scanner but found no codes with KOEO so i started the truck and hooked the scanner back up and it killed the truck. it wouldnt start with scanner hooked up. but hooking it up after kills it everytime. i replaced pcm and idm,cam sensor and no luck.
