Default NEED HELP ASAP!!! 97 7.3

Ok y'all got an issue need help with, truck is a 97 7.3 all stock with an edge plug and play chip and it started spitting and sputtering and dying all of the sudden so I got a cps, icp and pigtial (old was leaking), and replaced the map sensor, got everything directly from ford the only thing that changed was now in addition to the spitting and sputtering the dang thing won't even move itself even under WOT the rpms never raise, but if I unplug the map sensor the damn thing runs like a scalded dog plug it back in and goes back to running like **** but this only happens sometimes when I unplug It there Is no change anyone have any ideas? Need to get it running asap

Yes I've tried unplugging the edge and there is no change (other than a little less git-up) but doesn't run any better or worse without it and I have exchanged the map sensor for another again directly from ford and still no change and also I just found out the my under valve cover harness has been cut and spliced many times could that be causing all this?

very likely, i would get new valve cover gaskets, comes with the wiring harness, and install them. that is a known issue in these years, they get hot and the connectors and terminals go bad, causes it to run rough at best, and possibly not run at all.

UPDATE!!

Ok so I got a new uvch again directly from ford changed it truck ran great....for a while, now when driving truck will suddenly lose all power and throttle response and barely move itself (ex: going from 50 mph down to 15 mph) it will just do this at random times but come back out of it and run great but do it again, hooked it up to a scan gauge checked oil pressure fuel pressure volts etc all are great (oil pressure 630 at idle, 1100 while cranking, 2400 wide open going down the road) injectors pressure is well within range too (don't remember exact number ran so many tests ha) but everything is well within range and even when it acts up none of the numbers change all still well within range, anyone have any dang clue whats going on here? Im completely stumped
