All connections on the FPR are fragile andwhat might not seem to be overtightening can and will crack 'em. I avoid teflon tape and use Gasola sealant which is imprvious to diesel fuels.

Ya the old fitting had t tape and being a plumber I know what can happen on small delicate fittings but it seems to be working good still running well no leaks today.
