4r100r swap

I had a guy wanting to buy my trans from my parts truck,its an early 99

he has a 97 both are 7.3s

will he be gaining anything by doing the swap and is it very hard to do it

I don't think he'll gain much,and it takes time to do the swap.

you wont gain anything, the E4OD and the 4R100 are almost the same trans. the swap would take a few hours if your not good at pulling them.
