haha besides maybe a pressure buildup i dont see how the thermostat could do that hahaha

Make sure they change the thermostats while they are doing this. There is a TSB for it.

I've had my 2008 F250 for 1 year 2 months & have put 19,209 miles & i've had no leaks

Mine leak as well. Dealer installed new radiator, Tstat, flushed, refilled. Good to go. Never overheated, just leaked. Seems like it's pretty common as my service writer stated.

I've had my truck for almost two years & never needed to take to the dealer
