Default 5R110W and Idling for long periods

After a lot of soul searching and research, I have decided that I am buying a 2010 F250 CC/SB 6.4. I have been searching and can't find my answer so I thought I'd post.

How is the tranny on these trucks setup as far as the front pump and idling for longer times? I'm wondering if the pump is lubricated while idling to ensure longer life of the tranny. I know they are built really well but was wondering about this.

Thought i might share this...

I have a 2008 f350 and it is an amazing truck, does everything i ask it to do. My buddy on the other hand has an 08 and he used to idle the truck for about an hour before work in the winter(No clue why, seems a bit long to do so, but what ever), one day his truck died in his driveway, and he brought in to the dealer and they said the EGR was stuck open from the excessive idling.

NO DPF truck should be idling for a prolong time, cause it will clog the dpf
