Assuming the EGR is closed when you unplug it, it should remain that way.

I'm thinking since you took that valve apart, she's probly no good now.

I think you need to find a mod friendly dealer - so they can look at this with the tunes on it to see if it's a ford issue or a tuner issue.

Does the truck work ok with all the stock junk on it?

ok, i have a philosophy.....because i had a tuner and a module stacked running the DPF/DOC probably plugged one up, if not both....ok, and the EGR is probably got some sh-t in it too, considering.....so if the EGR is full of crap too then would it cause it to stick, or just trip-out once and awhile???? i dont know, and i have never had this type of problem before......its just crazy that it will run great tuned with DPF/DOC,and EGR delete options, no DPF/DOC components, for an unsertain amount of time(everytime), and then be shut down(count to 20-30), started again, and run great once agian like nothing happened...only to repeat itself and do the same sh-t all over again, and agian....

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

wait, do you mean completely stock exhaust and all, or dpf/doc and tune stock????

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

and maybe im looking at the wrong valve, because this thing came apart easily with three torx bolts and slid rite off and back on with not a hitch....do think i f-cked it up???

well after all that crap you guys will never guess what it was...................it turned out to be the EBP sensor. now is that some crazy sh-t or what?? i spent an excesive amount of cash tryin to trouble shoot and fix this thing, and in the end it turned out ot be a little sensor......WOW.............a word to the wise here, keep your factory componenets and when the thing starts to act funny and throw all kinds of funny codes put it back to stock and take it in.....they have alot better diagnostic equiptment then our tuners and modules and the techs are trained to diagnose problems like this and work on these types of trucks every day. Anyway my baby is back on the dusty path, WOO HOO

Something that everyone should keep in mind. Quoted for truth.

i didnt see the sensor, but the tech said that it definitly was malfunctioning.....i should have it back tomorro, i will tune her back up and post my findingsthe thing had to go right back in the next day because of a coolant leak....that turned out to be a hose from the cooling systm to the EGR cooler.
