Faint Smoke

Faint Smoke
I have an '06 6.0, with a K&N and 5" MBRP turbo back exhaust in place. All other engine components are stock. i ran a BullyDog Power Pup for a couple of years but have been running the factory tune since i had a couple injectors replaced 2 years ago. i just ordered an SCT F3, but wanted to get some opinions on an issue my truck has had for a while before i go blowing it up on accident.
I have noticed that i have a VERY light amount of smoke coming from my exhaust when i crank it cold. so light that if you are not looking for it, you cannot see it.
i used to tow a 14' tool trailer, but do not do much towing anymore.
I assume that i have a small leak in my EGR cooler that is causing this, but am not sure. i plan on doing a Delete and new Cooler when funds allow as well.
thanks for any input you can provide

Does it smell sweet like coolant or sting your eye ***** a little like fuel? Try and smell it next time.
Might be a sticky injector, weak batteries, or a dying FICM if it's fuel. Could also be a glow plug fault, or maybe even a gummed up EGR valve.
If it's coolant, the possibilities are typically the egr cooler or headgaskest. Probably not gaskets if it's faint and goes away when warm.

it does not smell like coolant. i just cleaned the EGR valve a couple of weeks ago too.
Honestly, the smoke is so light that i cannot tell what color it is. if you look directly at the exhaust pipe, you cannot see it comong out. you can see it floating around about 4' from the pipe though.
and i live in Florida, so "cold start" is a relative term. what i meant by that is when i start it in the morning.
EGR delete, new Oil Cooler soon. sorry for the confussion.

to test for an egr cooler leak remove the egr sensor its pretty easy i twist it with a pipe wrench and i put a 90deg bend in a long skinny screw driver just for this job once its twisted and the tabs are not on the spot where they get screwed into i pry up. thats what i do at least. every one has their own technique. any way once its out check inside for wetness or if it looks like its been steam cleaned in there. this would also be a good time to clean your egr sensor
