Hello all, I own a 2006 F 350 6.0 .
Had a case of "truck buck" 50- 60 mph. Even quit at stop sign.
OK what know ?
Old school mech. said use AFT IN FUEL AND OIL CHANGE.
half liter per tank 1 liter per oil change .
After the 3 tank problems gone.
A yr later I stopped useing AFT IN FUEL . Its back "truck buck"
Put AFT IN FUEL , its improving. Take's 2-3 tanks with AFT to clean whatever is dirty.
All so cleaned EGR valve, updated with the blue spring kit in fuel pump . 2 very easy fix's.

Have to believe it all condensation in all the systems in these truck's, Reason being when i add AFT to the fuel it will blow white smoke some times . And its not from the coolant system.

So before spending thousands try AFT , its only showed good fro me

How much does a blue spring kit cost? Both parts and installation?

I charge 160 out the door when using the kit that includes the housing.

Sounds like you should find a qualified tech take a look at the truck. It sounds very similar to a icp sensor failure or other issue. Atf is not a recommended additive but diluted to that degree it won't hurt and its likely it won't help either. Do yourself a favor and run a decent fuel treatment like stanadyne or power service. Condensation in the fuel system is extremely unlikely to cause any issue if the truck is being correctly maintained. I doubt there's a truck on the road that doesn't have atleast some moisture from condensation in the tank.

I have the delete kit but don't have time to put it in. Plus its at home need to get back. My egr is sticking and over loading the fuel , I cleaned it and it good for 2 weeks . can I for now just to get back to my state pull the eg . Out cap the hole and redo my tune and delete the egr in the programming? Till I can get the kit on or will this cause a problem???

Once you put your tune in, you must delete the DPF, as for the EGR, you can keep it there until you decide to remove it, but unplugged it
