2003 Ford 6.0L has been throwing the code P0713 and the transmission temp gauge goes absolutely insane. I actually have no idea where the temp sensor is or if it could be something else I'm not aware of... The weird thing about all of this is when I was hunting the other day trolling around the mountains in 4 wheel drive it never ever freaked out and my check engine light actually went off, but as soon as I broke 30mph it came back on and the gauge freaked out. Anyways could anyone help me in pinpointing the problem and if it is indeed the sensor could you please tell me where it is? Thanks a lot guys

It shifts like a smooth criminal, but every once and a while I lose over drive then it starts shifting hard. Once I get to the next stop light and stop everything goes back to normal, but that has only happened to me twice and it was that day of hunting where I had been driving for like 8 hours of the day.

also by the way I posted a help request on Powerstroke.org about a week ago and no one even tried to help but I posted this like 10 minutes ago and now I've got pictures and a mini manual. Thanks a lot guys I will definitely be recommending this site to everyone I know with a diesel!
