yes you can tighten it i believe your going to need to remove the CAC tube to get to it, that or the left hand inner fender well. DONT GO CRAZY with them! if you turn it a 1/8th turn its usually enough.
I assume your steering wheel is going left to right or feels "lose" id suggest checking the tie rods and drag link and if the steering wheel seems to have a mind of its own when your going down the road, turn the wheel all the way to the locks left to right and hold it at the locks see if it jumps to the opposite direction. thats an indication of something in your hydroboost system and are tricky without gauges to diagnose, pumps are easy to replace on these, 3 or 4 10mm bolts and keep the wheel straight youll be able to dig it out from the bottom just have to pull the pulley off and press it onto the new one.
