transmission prob

Default transmission prob

last night my transmission just quit. when its in gear it will bearly move the truck if i rev it high. but not enough to drive. its like its slipping. i have no trouble codes i scanned it. any ideas what it could be?

Check fluid level, it doesn't take much to make it slip, also the filters could be clogged, best place to start

Sounds exactly like mine when the torque converter imploded.

well it wasnt anything cheap or easy to fix. major melt down pan was full of metal. had to get a whole new transmission

Yeah, torque converter went apart. Hopefully they were smart enough to replace the trans cooler and external filter too...
