GoGo or FCDP both have deletes that utilize mods to the intake manifold.

i have a 04 6.0 can i just unplug the EGR or will it cause problems? Also i have a Hyper Tech max Energy programmer.

You can unplug it if you want. You may or may not get a check engine light. If you do, only way to get rid of it is plug it back in or get an SCT with custom tunes. Usually the 03/04 trucks don't get the light, but I have seen some 04's do it. It can also still just blow open under normal use without even being plugged in. Only real way to fix this problem is to get it off the truck.

If i just completely take out the EGR What do i do to cover that hole? and how much money are we talking about roughly.

Default egr delete

I ordered kit on ebay for around 650$ shipped to canada from florida and it came with block off plates for cooler gasket set for everything u remove to get at it a performance programmer that goes on ur laptop with shuts off light reads engine codes too it also came with new oil cooler which needs to be removed during the process so i replaced it i was told by many that plugged oil coolers r common.
I am very happy with my setup
