i have an 03 f-350 with a 6.0 i have done quite a bit of work to it . I started out replacing a bad fuel injector control module then replaced the 4 injectors on the passenger side of engine truck was running fine then about 2 weeks later truck is running crappy after it warms up stalls out when rpms r over 2000 no power starts fine when cold wont restart after stalling until it cools down then starts right up went through several forums and located and replaced the icp it didnt look bad but after all the crap just to get it out i decided to replace it any way i was getting a p2290 code before i replaced it i ran the truck for a good half hour after replacing sensor and ran fine took it out on the road and after 5 minutes it started doing the same thing i am reading a lot of posts about the hpop is this where i should be looking next and ohh yes i brought it to ford and they stated i needed to replace all the injectors that i just replaced paid them 215.00 for the same info i already had myself

The best thing to do is get a scan tool and check icp press. while cranking once it stalls. Could be an hpop but, could be the ipr. Once you verify low press. at cranking you can do a leak test on the high press. side to determine which one is at fault.

You need to do a air test on the High pressure system, you have a high pressure oil leak, most likely the oring on top of the injectors, you can get them on ebay but not from Ford dealer. I just bought a set of 8 complete sets for $87 and they are Alliant kits, that is who makes these injectors.
