Turbo whine?

1. You put that on the exhaust side so it was hard to hear.
2. It's REAL hard not to get a mic that doesn't sound like WWHHOOOOOOSSSSSSSHHHHH in the wind.

Sorry, bro.

I'd try it again in the interior, windows UP, radio off and maybe point out when it happens.

That definitely sounds like compressed air escaping or possibly a bearing failure. I'd check all my serpentine belt pulleys too, a water pump or tensioner pulley will make noise that changes with RPMs

Kinda hard to hear but if it is whining or hissng then I would bechecking the plastic pipe first, when they split they can make a whole range of noises, If it sounds more like a growle then I would look at the Idlers or the AC pump bearings, one way to see if is bearings in a pulley or pump is to park the frontend over a raised sidewalk, it reflects the noise back up and makes it alot easier to hear.

Being as I have an 03 with a Banks CAC, I forgot all bout those cheesy plastic charge tubes. Which is odd because I sold mine to a guy with an 06.
