If you turn up your pump and are haulling any thing bigger than a full tank of fuel you better get an egt gage you can over fuel the idi and burn up your pistons someone already said it get bigger exhaust and cold air or cowl induction . Or spend the $ on a turbo.

Seriously though if you want it to smoke, bottom the allen screw and advance the timing as far as it will go. It wont last long, but if thats what you want have at it.

"THEY" would be the guys who cant aford a turbo and if you must turn up your pump, there is a little triangle plate low on the pass side of the ip remove two small screws turn motor over till you can see an allan haed using an allan wrench turn clockwise one flat "flat" meaning one side or flat of the allan wrench if your pump is stock and nobody has messed with it you should be able to go two flats before you have to start streesing egt's (exhaust gas temps) stock on an incline these motors run close to 1200deg aluminum melts at 1400 deg not much room.......goodluck...
