go get some bigger exhaust.... get rid of the clunker for an air cleaner..(scrap it)... get a 14" k7n thats 6" high.... and switch to royal purple 15/40 synthetic... get ya some z-max and some lucas Full synthetic oil stabilizer.....I gained 1.3 mpg's just changin oil ... I run it 10,000 between changes... it willl go longer but thats about twice a year or so...
As for exhaust I'm running dynomax and its 4"... primarys are 2.5 into a 3 to a 3.5 to a 4" in to muffler.....
WARNING... the k&n will make it loud in the cab... but it sounds great.... try some dyna-mat or something like that ... will help too.. I love the sound it makes....... check out my pics... will add some soon ..... she's a beautiful truck... just need more lovin...

oh i keep being told 6 from international dealership.... must be a safty thing... I'm never 100% about that number... I'm sure on a hard pull 10 would be good.. but 17 seems kind high.... I havent had much opertunity to pull heads on these motors just been other external stuff..... I would think that 350-400 hp would be do-able.... I work on old detroit's and they have 400 or more... Bendagbullet..... check it out on youtube...
