I think I read somewhere your running an electric lift pump, holley red if its you I'm thinking about, would you run one before or after the water seperator?

Ps I go to lots of car and truck sites and this is by far the most helpful site I have ever been on, thanks for letting me pick your brains.

yes, i run a holley red pump. run it before the water seperator. if possible put a little metal inline filter before the pump. just be sure to unhook and bypass the factory lift pump.

damn, was hoping you said it doesn't matter.....haha, also the water seperator unit on the firewall, do they come from ford with a fram unit? cause thats what i got on it, you said to leave it alone and better off replacing with an aftermarket unit, just wondering if that was already done for me....... but i'm not that lucky with this truck....

ok, urs has been replaced then. the factory unit is a metal housing with a pull ring on top to drain the water. the orings fail inside and they leak. if they arent touched they wont leak. no way to replace the orings.

i would say it is aftermarket then. can u get pics?
