Hey everybody need some help cant figure out why the wipers wont turn off on a 1986 f250 with intermittant wipers. I bought a new switch when took the old one out saw it was replaced recently and new that wasnt going to be the problem. Plugged the new one in and sure enough wont turn off. Sometimes I can just turn the truck off and restart and will be off but sometimes it wont make a difference any ideas?

 

are they going normal speed or slow when not turning off?

 

Need a new motor.

 

they go normal speed and when they wont turn off the intermittant wipers not working also I was just outside playing with them and when they werent turning off i was moving the wires at the motor and then they turned off i thought i found the problem but now not working i took it for a drive and they wouldnt turn off but after about four minutes they did. so you think it needs a motor?
