just like it says, needing help getting a little more out of dads 7.3 idi. could some one point me in the right direction to do so. thanks in advance

 

Read the post about turning up the fuel pump, but dont go much over 1/4 turn... Get an egt gauge, avoid temperatures over 1200.. Maybe a performance air intake and exhaust. Other then that theres not a whole lot you can do.

and if you really wanna spend a couple $ go for an after market turbo kit, i put one on mine (ATS performance) and my uncle has one on his (Banks), makes all the difference in the world

 

we would like to put one one, but he is unemployed at the time, he just wants a little extra hp so he can pull our hill with out it downshifting.

 

Like was said, put on EGT gauge and turn up the fuel pump and torque screw.
