Ok guys, I need some directions. Can anyone point me to a site or company that has the bell-housing drawings for the IDI pattern and the modern Ford V-8/V-10 pattern? I am planning to install a 1989 7.3 into a 08' Expedition and want to use the 4r75e. The torque converters use the same bolt pattern and hub/nose diameter. Should jut be able to transfer the mod pattern to the IDI adapter and drill and tap. I have found the basic numbers for each and they will Tango, just need the proper drawing with engine centerline to over lay. If all else fails I am going to bolt up the TC and clamp the trans to the block and center punch the holes.
