6.9 bio diesel conversion
Hey all,
I'm a newbie here, but I was wondering if anyone had actually done this. From what I've been told by a bio diesel guru, all you need to do to convert it is install steel braided fuel lines and a steel head gasket. I've also been told that the previous statement is incorrect and that only applies to waste vegetable oil. What are your thoughts?

its not so much about the heat needed its more baout the filtration needed ... its almost more expencive to run after you factor all the filters, special hoses, special attn to all the details .... if you have tinkeritus .... this will cure ya of that in a hurry ... IMHO of course ... i ran out of time and money to bother ... i get B5 from local fuel station .. and i just toss in a QT of ATF in each fill up .. all good..

Agreed, I know shops don't like to rebuild the ones people use bio fuel in, but they are by no means trashed
