From readin about em those adjustable TST boxes that Dr. Evil posted look pretty sweet. The draw back I see to them is the price. They are a might to steep for what your gettin when you compare the prices to the other boxes available out there like Bullydog and the Comp.

i know your not supposed to do it but i had my drag comp on 5x5 and the smarty was accidently set on catcher 9 (added timing) and the truck seemed to run great

i do know for a fact that when the comp is stacked with the smarty - i got better 1/4 mile times with the smarty on the lower levels

14.7 - std. comp 5x5, smarty catcher 8 (no timing)

14.4 - std. comp 5x5, smarty cather 6 (no timing)

i didnt have the drag comp upgrade with those times...

so the smarty definately takes away some of the top end power

I went with the Hot Comp 1st. After turbo, intercooler and injectors, I'll add the smarty and a Fass system. Then comes saving for the transmission. I guess by then I'll need one.

That's my plan anyway. (gotta win the lottery).

How many stock LP's and VP44's have you done? - just curious.

Me? None yet. I run the comp on level 2 most all the time. Level 3 gets me into traffic well enough. Messing around with 4 and 5, just burns up tires. So, until I have all the parts in place, I drive it like I need too.
