Default Edge Comp VS Smarty

Hey everyone, im in the process of debating whether to get a Smarty or Edge Comp box for my truck. Which would you all recommend for me and what are the pros and cons of each box/tuner.

Thry are both closely priced as well which is aother reason for my comparison between the two.

Also, does anyone know the full power gain of a smarty in HP and TQ.

The Smarty typically isn't gonna add big numbers to you Hp or Torque ratings. It's designed to work in the low end power range and the Edge is designed to work in the high end range. The Edge is also shift on the fly, whereas the Smarty is a complete re-program each time you change a setting. So as for which one is right for you depends on where you want the power added, in the high or low end ranges and is shift on the fly important to you.

Uncle Bubba, in saying what you just said, can you use the smarty to program the truck then plug in the edge comp, and theoretically stack them? or not? just curious as to know, even though i will never own either or-

trust me...i've heard it way to many times...get the smarty first...driveability gets so much better. Just think about it...how often do you rev it out all the way. with the six speed low end helps spool.

They are completely stackable and from anybody that's ever done it, it is supposed to be the only way to fly.
