found the tag in the road were the case broke for some reason it is a 241 DLD, ratio 272, tag number 52105370. why would there be a 241 dld not a 241 dhd on a cummins, what is the difference
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
is there any difference in bolting up a 241 dld off a auto than a 241dld off a five speed

alot of it has to do with the spline count and the thickness of the gears inside the case. the DHDs are a little stronger then the DLDs and can usually survive a long time even with moderate mods done to the truck
if thats what ya want I can get a rebuilt one to you next day cheap ..........I will meet ya half way..........PM me
