nope never yet never did any 4x4 bossted launches nothin, rarely go muddin with it and only enguage it to get moving in the snow, im still at a loss for words on how it happened, took it off and inspected it in may when i upgraded my clutch but thats it

Thats a major ouch.

Sounds like you use your 4x4 a fair bit - you might as well get a NP205 and be done with it. Sorry, I cant supply much more info than that. You can buy lower aftermarket gears than the factory ones.

Because its cast iron, all gear drive, and theres no chain to stretch. Oh yeah, its just about indestrictible.

Its true - size doesnt mean anything.

ya but would it hold up to 500hp, will it bolt right into place of a five speed and can it handle 20k pounds of towing?

Im not expert here but I believe they are way stronger than a chain driven case. The disadvantage is that the gear could be lower. But like I said, there are lower gears avaialble from the aftermarket.

If you want bulletproof - thats what you want.

Spend a bit of time reading up on them and decide for yourself.

well if its better as you say than that will rull out me getting a 271 which is way out of my price range thats for the advice bud im mean SIR

what about throwing a built dana 300 transfer case on her my dad has one on his jeep with the nv4500 5 speed trany those are a few hundred bucks
