i have a np205 t-case on a chevy i had many years ago, full 3/4ton swap under a single cab short bed on 40s. the np205 is a bad ****.

Pair of snap ring pliers is the only special tool you need to split that case. I have had mine out and split apart trying to stop the POS from bleeding everywhere. I completely re-sealed it with the right stuff and it still leaks like a sieve.

FWIW, my 2500 came with camper package AND tow package, which got it 4.10 rears, but still a DLD transfer case...
