$25 Fuel Pressure Gauge
Theres too much vibration and the copper will eventually fail. I use 1/8" parker Paraflex tubing which is good to 250 psi. You can also use dot approved air brake line. Good for petroleum, good for at least 100 psi, and good to -40F.
You might have to change the mounting location but you could mount some LEDs close to it and shine them on the guage. (a gauge with a back mounted pressure port would probably be better for this).

Idk what the FF housing on the p pump 12valves looks like but I don't see how this setup wouldn't work for a 12 valve of course the pressures would be a lot higher than what I see on my 24 valve, a 0-100psi gauge like the one i used would work pretty good. BTW i installed the needle valve this afternoon

Throwing some LEDs around it would provide plenty of light I would think

For a 12V use a 0-60 psi guage and use the front 1/8" FNPT fitting on the fuel filter housing (post filter) for the fuel pressure sample point (just like the pics at the start of this thread). Alternately, you can tap a 1/8" FNPT hole in the P-7100 inlet banjo bolt and install your needle valve there like this:

That gauge is just what I had to work with from the local Home Depot. It shows the pressure in 2 pound increments, IMO the range of the gauge is your own personal preference.
